THE ENERGY FUTURE
- Sources and Challenges”

Thursday, April 29, 2021
8:30 AM- 3:00 PM

Due to social distancing rules, the program will be conducted via Zoom.

The Seminar will address energy demand and supply issues and how that affects the oil and gas industry. The recent record cold weather in the South created a very challenging environment for power producers and exposed the vulnerability and weakness in the electricity grid system.  The rolling blackouts which occurred in Texas during the record cold weather has been blamed on a number of players, including the natural gas supplies.  Our panel of speakers will address issues with power supply/demand and offer professional observations and analysis.   Hopefully we can gain insight as to what role we play as energy producers.  This Seminar should be meaningful for geologists, landmen and engineers.
