Renewing your membership to the Shreveport Geological Society is easier than ever! Simply choose your membership level below, fill out the form as necessary, and pay your dues with a credit card. There is a $2 processing fee for applying/renewing online. Please note that information for the membership directory is taken from this form, so it is important that you fill out any changes and keep your record up-to-date. If you would prefer to renew your membership by mail with a check, please download and fill out a form to mail instead.
The annual dues cover the period of July through June. Please note that you must fill out the application form AND pay the membership fee in order to be considered for membership.
While you are renewing your membership, would you like to make a donation to the SGS Scholarship Fund and/or the SGS Faithful Friends? You can now do so online!
Honorary Member Renewal Form
Honorary members who have been approved by the board are asked to fill out the renewal form below.

Like what you see? It's easy to join the Shreveport Geological Society as an active, associate, or student member. To be eligible for active membership, an applicant must be engaged in the practice or teaching of geology or related sciences. In order to be an associate member, an applicant must be interested in geological science but not actively engaged in the practice or teaching of geology or related sciences. Students are welcome to apply for student membership. Honorary members can be nominated and then voted on by the society.
Membership fees are per year: Active: $25 Associate: $25 Student: $5 Honorary: None
